AK Industrial Services performed hydrodemolition on the underside of a bridge deck in Ocean City, Maryland. Using an ErgoGo by Aquajet, the AKIS team was able to successfully remove 6″ of overhead concrete across four spans of bridge deck.

Using hydrodemolition for overhead work can make the process more efficient and more cost effective. Instead of manually removing 6″ of concrete overhead, hydrodemolition creates an avenue of robotic demolition, with a skilled oeprator directing the robot.
